This is a terminal for storage and distribution of petrol and biofuel products located in the Port of Barcelona. The storage capacity is 360,000 m3, distributed in 12 tanks with a range of capacities of 6000 m3 to 40,000 m3. The installations carried out are the following:
ELECTRICITY
- 25-kV reception and transformation centre and two 1250-kVA transformers
- General low-voltage distribution panel
- Engine manoeuvring panel
- High-efficiency speed shifters with low harmonic IGBT technology for 400-kW pumps
- Laying of trays and power cables for ATEX zones
- Exterior lighting, tanks and auxiliary zones
- Installation of the Water Processing Unit
- Supply and assembly of electrical tracing for biodiesel tanks and interior biodiesel pipes. Tracing of exterior lines to loading areas with long-line system
INSTRUMENTATION
- Supply and assembly of Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) and distribution panel
- Installation of the tank-level measuring system
- Installation of the auxiliary instrumentation of the terminal
- Laying of trays and power control cables for ATEX zones
- Closed-circuit television and intercom and public address system
AUTOMATION AND CONTROL
- Supply and assembly of the control panel with PLC and communications system
- Development of the control software for the terminal, including the tank-level system, loading and offloading of vessels and product pumps
- Development of the SCADA supervision software of the terminal
- Development of the management software of the terminal, with the remote maintenance service for the control system
